First Day of Camp!

The morning group

Today was full of eager kids ready to learn Spanish!  Since our Summer Camp is a foreign language immersion and arts camp, we always have something going on!  The the 9am-1pm group were so excited to be here. The morning began with colors, numbers, and the alphabet. Next the kids had story time and then learned how to sing happy birthday in Spanish. The first art project was creating a birthday cake and going over some of the ingredients in Spanish.  After lunch the kids started an ice-cream cone art project that demonstrated their knowledge of what the different flavors are in Spanish.

The afternoon group

The second group of the day was just as excited as the first!  The first thing they went over was the alphabet including, colors and a review of the numbers in Spanish. This group was very advanced with the spanish.  The first art project they made were pizzas. The girls went over ingredients and colors.
